DailyRead-Art-wlogoReading:  2 Corinthians 12:10
That is why, for Christ’s sake, I delight in weaknesses, in insults, in hardships, in persecutions, in difficulties. For when I am weak, then I am strong.

Life extends well beyond our human limitations. That’s why and where God gives us strength. Life is supposed to be tough, challenging, too much, over the top, more than we can bear.

If life lies within our reach, what will ever bring us to our knees? Are you overwhelmed? Good! Are you facing the impossible? Wonderful! Are you convinced that life is too much? Face the truth … it is! When the burdens of the natural realm overwhelm us, the supernatural is brought to bear. Paul was a man of great gifts. He was a leader, a scholar, a warrior and teacher, yet he knew it wasn’t enough. He faced trouble, danger, abandonment, and deceit in an environment of ever increasing responsibility. He was, by his own telling, a man under pressure and constant demand. But Paul discovered that God’s strength was made perfect in his weakness. He chose to “glory” in his weakness that the strength of God might work in him. Anyone who will be great for God must come to the end of their strength to find the measure of His strength. Life exceeds the measure of man so that he finds his help by the power of God.
